About

I am a communications and digital media professional specializing in stories that make a difference.

My work spans from writing and editing to end-to-end video production. From writing public service announcements that offer safety tips to cyclists to creating a mini-documentary about beavers’ unexpected role in alleviating drought, I apply my background in digital communications and narrative-building to a variety of mediums for a wide array of audiences. A solid thread runs beneath every project: I tell stories that make the world a little bit better.

Born and raised in Kentucky, I often center local projects and Southern initiatives in my work. I have a broad range of experience: after finishing my bachelor’s degree in Writing, Rhetoric, & Communication and Spanish Language & Literature (with a minor in creative writing, of course), I honed my digital communication toolkit with a master’s in Media and Public Engagement from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Since then, I’ve worked as a contractor on various written and multimedia projects, a marketer at a full-service law firm, and an outreach manager at a nonprofit Southern literary magazine.

I specialize in generating fresh, creative, and original content—whether it’s written or digital. Need copy written for your website? Someone to manage your social media and e-mail newsletter presence? A video for your YouTube channel, with a few clips pulled for Instagram? Contact me today, and let’s discover how to tell your story.
